Airborne Solutions NZ
About us
Specialists in Agricultural Drones
Bayden and Scotty were born and bred on the dairy, sheep and cattle farms of New Zealand and turned their hand to aerial application by helicopter over 14 years ago.
Watching the Agricultural Drone industry evolve over the past 5 years, it wasn’t until 2020 that they thought – finally here is the first product that is truly a commercial agricultural drone.
When you work with XAG you will be impressed – the workflow of our products is unbeatable. These machines go out – they spray out – they return – and they go again. All day. Every Day.
WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?
At Airborne Solutions we believe we have a key point of difference in that we are one of the few companies in New Zealand both selling these aircraft but most importantly out there doing it. We are very experienced in the aerial spraying industry and know the challenges our operators face.
There are many Agricultural Spraying UAV's on todays market but what makes ours different is that XAG is one of the only UAV companies to have one sole focus and that is the agricultural industry. XAG is built "from the nozzle up"
Its perfectly placed nozzles amplify downwash effect into the crop canopy and its helicopter like skids allow it to land on uneven ground with ease, it is purpose built for its mission from day one.
Bayden
Bayden was raised on a dairy farm in the land of milk and honey – Southland. He operated helicopters on the South Islands West Coast for many years in between stints on the farm. This farm life gives him a great understanding of the farming environment and helps him understand what farmers want.
When covid struck things changed and after talking with Scotty and doing a lot of research it was decided Airborne Solutions needed to happen.
Scotty
Scotty started spraying from helicopters 14 years ago and with a few breaks along the way has been doing it ever since. He was born and bred on a farm in Patoka in Hawkes Bay and so has a good understanding of the land and how farmers operate and what they expect.
After trying various channels to get his hands on an XAG drone – together with Bayden Airborne Solutions was born. Now Airborne Solutions imports aircraft direct from China with the backup support of XAG Australia.
